Dr. Beasley's Nano-Resin AST Ceramic Coating for Professionals

Deep Shine Doesn’t Need to Sacrifice Durability

The Evolution of Dr. Beasley’s Ceramic Coatings & the Secret Behind Nano-Resin AST

Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence.

Vince Lombardi

I’ve spent most of my career as a detailing chemist chasing one thing: depth.

Not just shine, but depth. That liquid-mirror finish so deep you can swim in it, so wet the car looks like it was dipped in ink.

For years, that pursuit meant making trade-offs. Every time I tried to formulate for depth of gloss, I had to sacrifice durable protection.

Until now.

But to tell you how we got here, I’ve got to tell you where we started.

The Journey: From Failure to Breakthrough

Our first ceramic coating, Nano-Resin v1, was a great starting point. Easy to use, decent protection, and a solid intro to ceramic coatings for our less-experienced customers.

People loved it. But it wasn’t enough for me. It didn’t have the longevity or the thickness I wanted.

So we went back to the drawing board. As research progressed we launched Nano-Resin v2, Nano-Resin MX, and the coating that changed everything: Nano-Resin Pro.

Nano Resin Pro: 100% Solids, Self-Healing and a Deeper Gloss

Nano-Resin Pro was the first time I really felt like we cracked the formula.

We formulated it with 100% active solids: no solvents, all ceramic coating. That meant ultra-dense protection and superior durability. It was engineered with an elastomer nanostructure to self-heal fine scratches and protection that didn’t just resist contaminants, but fought them.

Nano-Resin Pro quickly became a favorite with our Authorized Detailer (AD) network because it struck the perfect balance. They could trust it to bond durably, cure hard, shine brilliantly and even self-heal fine scratches from washing and drying.

Yet the more Nano-Resin Pro Kits we sold, the more our network pushed us:

“Can you give us something thicker? Something glossier?
Something only we can get?

And I loved that question.

Because it meant they were ready for what we’d been working on all along.

Dr. Beasley's Nano-Resin AST Adaptive Surface Technology Ceramic Coating Kit

The Birth of AST – A Private Breakthrough for Our Best Installers

Nano Resin AST (Adaptive Surface Technology) wasn’t built for mass distribution. It was designed to be earned.

We developed it exclusively for our Authorized Detailer network. This is a private formula, sold only to professional, vetted installers who fully understand how to apply it properly.

That’s because this coating has a unique application process. And I don’t say that to hype it.

It genuinely requires a different rhythm

You need to layer it properly to activate its adaptive hexagonal nanostructures. It’s not a “wipe on, walk away” product.

But when installed correctly, the Adaptive Surface Technology can do things no other coating can:

  • AST responds to environmental conditions to optimize protection.
  • AST resists water spots with dynamic surface tension.
  • AST self-heals fine scratches and wash marks under heat or sunlight.
  • AST builds measurable film thickness that outlasts other coatings.

This is our thickest, smartest coating. And yes… it delivers jaw-dropping gloss if you prep it right.

But there was still one last thing I wanted…

The Gloss Equation – Solved With Gloss Builder

Late last year, we dropped Gloss Builder, a new formula I’d been refining alongside Nano-Resin AST.

Gloss Builder was built for depth. Not fake shine, but real, layered clarity. It uses nanostructures that cross-link, stack, and build upon themselves. Every application thickens the film. Every layer adds optical clarity.

Used on its own, it makes paint look dripping wet.

But pair it with AST?

You get a result that doesn’t seem possible.

Dark paint becomes obsidian. Gloss becomes three-dimensional.

And under that gloss is a self-healing fortress.

Exclusive. Trained. Professional Only.

Nano Resin AST is only available to Authorized Detailers.

And that’s intentional.

This isn’t a DIY product.

It takes skill. It takes training. And it takes commitment to doing things the right way.

That’s why we require AST training for all detailers before they install it. When you’re working with something this advanced, there’s no room for guesswork.

And honestly? That’s how it should be.

This is next-level coating technology—built by detailers, for detailers.

We Finally Broke the Trade-Off

For years, the story was always the same:

  • Want deep shine? You have to sacrifice durable protection.
  • Want durable protection? You have to compromise deep shine.

But not anymore.

With AST + Gloss Builder, you don’t have to choose.

  • You get the thickness of a pro-grade coating.
  • You get smart protection that adapts to the environment.
  • You get self-healing durability.
  • And you get the deepest gloss we’ve ever produced.

No compromises. No sacrifices. Just results.

Want In?

If you’re an Authorized Detailer, reach out to us for AST training.
If you’re a customer, ask your installer about the AST + Gloss Builder combo.

And if you’re chasing perfection like I was—well, you might’ve just found it.

I want in. Mike Phillips was my teacher 2 times…
I do classics and muscle cars only.
I’m also an authorized installer for AquaTek at Rockville and Gaithersburg Maryland.
I have my shop at Gaithersburg Maryland.
I’ve just closed down my website recently. They jacked up prices so high that i needed to shut it down.
I will be shopping around for a more friendly website.
