“I created Fresh Start Garage because I found other laundry products lacking in performance. They left residues, degraded our towels, and didn’t deliver the results we needed in our detail shop. That’s why I invested in developing a product powered by proprietary and patent-pending naturally-derived polymeric surfactants. The results have been incredible—our microfiber towels are cleaner, perform better, and last longer, while foam pads stay in top condition. And because it’s made with plant-derived, biodegradable ingredients, Fresh Start Garage isn’t just better for your tools—it’s better for the environment too. This is more than just a cleaner; it’s a smarter, more responsible way to care for the tools you rely on every day.”

Gets The Gunk Out
Breaks Down Wax & Polish Residue with Polymeric Emulsifiers
Whether you’re polishing or waxing a car’s paint, your foam pads and microfiber towels will get clogged with residue fast, rendering them useless. You can try to remove the gunk with your regular laundry soap, but it won’t break down the residue very well.
Dr. Beasley’s founder and chemist Jim Lafeber fixed this problem in his own detailing shop with a proprietary plant-based polymeric emulsifier that captures oily polish and wax residue so they can wash away with ease. Anti-static properties in the emulsifier then prevent the residue from re-depositing onto the fibers or foam. Now, after rigorous testing on the garage floor, Jim’s ready for you to try Fresh Start Garage.
Maintains Softness & Effectivity
Keeps Towels & Foam Pads Working Longer
As you use, wash and re-use microfiber towels and pads, they start to lose their effectiveness. Soft foam turns coarse from dried polish. Microfiber clogs with wax residue and fails to absorb. Repeat washes with fabric softener wear down the fibers while leaving bits of residue behind.
The solution is to forgo all the fabric softeners, dyes and fragrances that clog fibers and wear down material, which is exactly what Jim did when he first formulated a detergent for his own shop towels, mitts and pads. We still use this formulation today — Fresh Start Garage is one and the same.
More Mileage
Ultra-Concentrated for Maximum Washes
Detailers, especially professional ones, go through tons of towels — Jim learned that the hard way. So any soap he made had to be concentrated so his team could get more towels, mitts and pads cleaned and back into rotation. That’s why Fresh Start Garage is concentrated enough that you’ll be able to wash thousands of towels and pads before the bottle is empty. A little bit goes a long way.
